The Horry Chapter is a part of a larger organization.  Wildlife Action, Inc is a private, non-profit grass roots organization whose mission is promoting public awareness about wildlife habitat, conservation, preservation and restoration of our natural resources, educating all people on stewardship of the good earth, and promoting responsible sportsmanship and ethics as exercised in the right to bear arms.

We provide a wide range of shooting sports.

Trap & Skeet: We have one dedicated trap field and one combination trap and skeet field. The clay fields are open Tue, Thu & Sun. The first Saturday of the month we sponsor an ATA match.

Pistol & Rifle: We operate nine shooting ranges. One 50/100yd range, eight pistol/rifle ranges and one range for shotgun. The fourth Saturday of the month we hold a pistol 50/50, target and fun shoot.

Through our membership we encourage the public to visit our facility. If you are a seasoned shooter or have never held a firearm, we have experienced members and NRA Instructors who will help you with your questions and improving your skills. Contact us at wildlifeactionhorrychapter@gmail.com or if you know a member have them bring you out to the club.

Outreach Program: We have a WLAHC team that visits local schools and youth programs to teach wildlife habitat and conservation.

Pioneer Program: This program provides firearms experience and training to kids. The also have an over night camping weekend. We also provide free lunches.
Ladies Day:  WLAHC opens the club to “ladies only”, twice a year (moms, come on out and bring your daughters). We provide the firearms, ammo and lunch.

Youth Summer Camp: Through the national organization, WLAHC provides scholarships for day and overnight summer camp programs at the Fork Retch Wildlife Refuge, Bunny Beeson Resource Education Center.
